演奏級教學（選曲方法）
如何有效表現多種不同風格以達到最好效果，取得更高成績（以Trinity ATCL Syllabus舉例）
1. 先決定一首學生本身有優勢的曲種
比較多學生會選Romantic Period的樂曲為自己強項的一首，例如Brahms, Chopin, Schubert等作曲家
e.g. Brahms Intermezzo in A, op.118 no.2
2. 選一首足夠時間長度的主樂曲
Sonata因為擁有三個樂章，所以佔時間比較長，多人會喜歡選擇Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven等作曲家，視乎自己的長處去選擇
e.g. Haydn Sonata in E minor, XVI/34
3. 選一首曲風較大差異的樂曲
以選擇不同時期、速度、調性、曲風、技巧等的作品，以展示自己多方面的能力
e.g. Bach French Suite no.5 in G, BWV 816
4. 最後選一首略為冷門的樂曲品種
部份20世紀的的作品比較不易撞曲，在考試中能更容易突出自己，引起考官的興趣，是得分的技倆
e.g. Babajanian Elegy (in memory of Khachaturian)

選一首合適的作品給學生確實重要，能達至事半功倍的效果（以Trinity LTCL Syllabus舉例）
Chaminade Sonata in C minor, op.21
樂曲清單很需要選一首Sonata以達到時間要求，但部份女學生彈Beethoven略顯力量不夠，但Mozart又彈得不夠細緻，Haydn又怕悶的話，可嘗試選這位法國浪漫派女鋼琴家Cécile Chaminade的作品。
另一首浪漫派女鋼琴家的作品推薦:
Beach Ballade in D flat, op.6
Faure arr. Cortot Dolly Suite for solo piano (all 6 movts)
這首作品由六個樂章組成（全曲時間約15分鐘），適當安排以多首短曲組成的作品在樂曲清單裡，除可加強學生學習興趣，比起學習一首相同時間長度的作品，短曲會更易完成，而且更能在考試保持穩定性。
另一首能達到這個效果而比較多人會選的樂曲:
Schubert Impromptu in B flat, D935
Ginastera Danzas Argentinas, Op.2
對於速度靈活性有優勢，而又能輕易記譜背譜的學生，可考慮選這曲，能發揮強技巧的表現。
另一首相類似適合同一類學生選擇的曲目推薦:
Gershwin Rhapsody in blue (original piano solo version)
Poulenc Intermezzo in A flat
部份學生對20世紀有關印象派的想象力/不規則的拍子感/獨特的調性是不能好好掌握的話，可考慮這首作品，是較容易理解的20世紀代表作。
如果對印象派有認識的學生則可考慮選擇以下曲目:
